Hi! I'm Jade and I'm an illustrator from Leicestershire in the UK, specialising in children's illustration. Above you'll see a picture of me in my happy place... I love nothing more than spending my time drawing and painting. My favourite thing about illustration is the ability to create characters and worlds that I could only wish existed in reality.
I love working on a variety of projects and in 2021, author J.M.McClatchie and I had our first children's picture book, 'Crabbit Chops!' published. Alongside children's book illustration, I also have experience in creating bespoke pattern designs for clothing brands.
As a child, I was drawn to children's book illustration and I'd spend many happy hours tucked away in a quiet corner of the library, gazing at picture books, with a real curiosity as to how the illustrations were created. Thankfully as the years passed by, my curiosity grew further and I ended up making it my goal to learn more about illustration and so I ended up following a very creative path throughout my whole time in education. In 2018 I graduated from Loughborough University with an honours degree in Graphic Communication and Illustration.
